Returns - Physical Products
Products purchased directly from the official shop.us.dlink.com site may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms and conditions below.
To initiate a return, customers must contact D-Link to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions. Returns received without an approved RMA may not be processed.
Returned products must be received in good condition and include:
- the unit with an intact serial/UPC label
- original power supply
- all accessories originally included
- Proof of purchase or invoice
We strongly recommend including the original packaging and documentation. If items are missing, damaged, or show signs of excessive use, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.

Restocking Fees
Returned products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, at D-Link’s discretion, based on product condition, completeness, and the nature of the return.

Return Shipping
Unless the product is confirmed or deemed defective by the D-Link technical support team, or the return is due to a shipping error by D-Link, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a carrier that provides a tracking number. D-Link is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

If a product is confirmed or deemed defective by the D-Link technical support team, or an incorrect item was shipped, D-Link will provide return instructions and cover applicable return shipping costs.

The DPS-520 provides power supply redundancy and resiliency for Power over Ethernet (PoE). It ensures continuous device activity and offers protection against device power supply failures by providing seamless failover for D-Link switches such as the DGS-1520 series.

- Auto Discovery: automatically discover powered device (PD) to immediately deliver power
- RPS Port Priority: allows network administrator to define RPS failover policy
- Status Reporting: status information can be monitored through any web browser, allowing administrators to backup a failed switch.
High Flexibility and Availability
The DPS-520 PoE Redundant Power Supply system offers stable, reliable safety features and protection to you network. With a 180W power budget and 4 ports with PoE power budget, it can actively back-up four compatible D-Link switches while using PD power connection box, reducing the redundant power cost per device. In the event of a power supply failure, the redundant power supply unit is immediately triggered, allowing the LAN switch and its connected devices to remain operational.

When connected to compatible D-Link switches,
the DPS-520 offers enhanced capabilities to manage power supply redundancy, including:
Allows the network administrator to define RPS failover policy
Monitor status and backup a failed switch via web browser
Simple installation without complex configurations allows convenient management for network administrators
Automatically provides short-circuit protection to prevent equipment damage caused by high currents
Offering a 90W power budget per port and a total of 180W for reliable backup power
Flexible Deployment
The DPS-520 can be installed on a desktop or onto a standard switch rack by inserting it into an optional DPS-800. The DPS-800 is a standard-size rack mount designed to hold up to two DPS-520 RPS units.
Any standard Category 5e or higher Ethernet cable can be used to connect the RPS to the switch, allowing the RPS to supply PoH power to the switch with up to 100m connection distance.
