Traffic Management

The DMS-108 offers traffic management features like IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control that provide a more reliable connection for all your devices. The 802.1p QoS feature classifies the traffic into 8 levels and prioritizes them by their importance. Flow Control will temporarily stop data transmission when the switch’s input buffer is full, helping to minimize dropped packets.
