Returns - Physical Products

Products purchased directly from the official shop.us.dlink.com site may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms and conditions below.

To initiate a return, customers must contact D-Link to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions. Returns received without an approved RMA may not be processed.

Returned products must be received in good condition and include:

  • the unit with an intact serial/UPC label
  • original power supply
  • all accessories originally included
  • Proof of purchase or invoice

We strongly recommend including the original packaging and documentation. If items are missing, damaged, or show signs of excessive use, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.

Restocking Fees
Returned products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, at D-Link’s discretion, based on product condition, completeness, and the nature of the return.

Return Shipping
Unless the product is confirmed or deemed defective by the D-Link technical support team, or the return is due to a shipping error by D-Link, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a carrier that provides a tracking number. D-Link is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product is confirmed or deemed defective by the D-Link technical support team, or an incorrect item was shipped, D-Link will provide return instructions and cover applicable return shipping costs.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned product has been received and inspected.

Effortless PoE+ Gigabit Network Expansion

The D-Link DGS-1008MP 8-Port Gigabit PoE Switch is an ideal solution for small offices and enterprise environments looking to expand the network with Gigabit connectivity. With eight Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, you can power more PoE-capable cameras, access points, lighting, access controls and VoIP phones using standard Ethernet cabling. 

Power over Ethernet

The DGS-1008MP features eight 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that support the IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard, enabling these ports to supply up to 30 W of power to connected devices for a total PoE power budget of 125 W. This allows compatible devices to be connected without requiring an additional power supply, saving on cabling and allowing devices to be installed in locations without immediate access to power outlets.

Energy Saving

DGS-1008MP switches feature both D-Link Green 3.0 Technology and IEEE802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) to cut operating costs without sacrificing operational performance or functionality. With D-Link Green technology, the switches constantly monitor the link status and network utilization of every port. The switches also automatically detect cable length and can reduce transmission power usage for shorter cables. By pairing EEE capable devices with DGS-1008MP switches organizations can drastically reduce power consumption by automatically putting ports into a sleep mode when not being used.
