Travel Tech Kit Giveaway Contest Rules

Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER D-Link’s Travel Tech Kit Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). Limit one entry per person. Entry into the Giveaway commences on April 14, 2026. All entries must be submitted to D-Link Systems, Inc. (“D-Link”) by 11:59 pm PST on April 27, 2026, to be eligible. Approximately 3-5 days after close of the Giveaway, 1 winner will be randomly chosen. All decisions are final. The Winner will be notified by email of record on or about May 11, 2026 and is required to send shipping information in a return email. To obtain the winner’s name, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to D-Link’s TRAVEL TECH KIT Contest, 25954 Commercenter Drive, Lake Forest, CA 92630 by July 13, 2026. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and submitted in accordance with the rules.

Open to legal residents of USA only, unless prohibited by local, state or federal laws. Employees and their immediate families of D-Link and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate. You must have reached the age of majority in the state/jurisdiction of residence at the time of submission of the entry to win. Winners may be required to submit a signed affidavit certifying their eligibility within 30 days of notification. Failure to submit a properly completed affidavit may result in the selection of an alternate winner. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The winner may be required to provide a social security number and receive an IRS Form 1099 for the actual value of the prize received in the year the prize is awarded. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The Giveaway consists of a prize package limited to (1) DCS-6501LH, (1) DSP-111, (1) DCP-101 & (1) DPP-101 with Approximate Retail Value of $186.68. The winner will not receive the difference between the actual and approximate retain value.

By completing and submitting an entry for the Giveaway, the entrant agrees to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of D-Link, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Giveaway. All entries become the property of D-Link and will not be returned. D-Link will arrange for delivery of all prizes. Any prize notification or prize that is returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by law, each winner consents to the use of their name and photograph (with the exception of the winner's contact information, including address, telephone number and email address) in any manner by D-Link and its advertising and promotion agencies without further compensation. D-Link and its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and related companies shall not be responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that any winner might incur as a result of the Giveaway or receipt of any prize. All winners accepting prizes agree that all prizes are awarded on the condition that D-Link and its officers, directors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and employees will have no liability whatsoever, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless such parties from any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the prizes. Each winner further acknowledges that D-Link is not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness. No winner may make any substitutions or transfers of any prize. D-Link reserves the right to substitute cash or a similar prize of equal or greater value if any advertised prize (or portion of prize) is unavailable for any reason.

D-LINK, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, PARENT, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND/OR DIRECTORS AND FACEBOOK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, ALLEGEDLY SUSTAINED OR ARISING OUT OF THE GIVEAWAY OR A PRIZE, YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE GIVEAWAY OR A PRIZE, OR ANY OF THE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS AVAILABLE THEREFROM, REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF CLAIM OR THE NATURE OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF THE ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.

Any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual damages of no more than USD $100, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and under no circumstances will you or any third party be permitted to obtain awards for and you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder from the platform used or email address submitted at the time of entry. D-Link may cancel or suspend the Giveaway and will have no liability whatsoever if, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including infection, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of D-Link. D-Link reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway or tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway. D-Link assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. D-Link is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by D-Link on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants' or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Giveaway. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other non-D-Link platform. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of these accounts, not to Facebook or Instagram. You agree to fully release Facebook and Instagram from any liability related to this Giveaway.

Information collected in connection with this Giveaway may be used to administer in accordance with D-Link’s privacy practices posted at https://www.dlink.com/us/en/privacy and applicable data protection laws and may be provided to third parties involved in the administration of the Giveaway. Third parties who assist D-Link with the administration of the Giveaway are authorized to use your information for the sole purpose of D-Link’s administration of this Giveaway. You agree to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data by D-Link for purposes of this Giveaway.

You agree that all disputes or claims arising from or in connection with this Giveaway are governed by California law and disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and via a binding arbitration administered by a single arbitrator at JAMS in Orange County, California, pursuant to JAMS' Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. The foregoing statements in this paragraph shall not preclude either party from seeking provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a court of appropriate jurisdiction. You also agree to, and expressly waive, the rights to file or join in any class actions or collective proceedings related to any dispute arising from this Giveaway.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY VIOLATE APPLICABLE LAWS, INCLUDING CRIMINAL AND CIVIL STATUTES, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, D-LINK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
