Returns - Physical Products

Products purchased directly from the official shop.us.dlink.com site may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms and conditions below.

To initiate a return, customers must contact D-Link to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions. Returns received without an approved RMA may not be processed.

Returned products must be received in good condition and include:

  • the unit with an intact serial/UPC label
  • original power supply
  • all accessories originally included
  • Proof of purchase or invoice

We strongly recommend including the original packaging and documentation. If items are missing, damaged, or show signs of excessive use, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.

Restocking Fees
Returned products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, at D-Link’s discretion, based on product condition, completeness, and the nature of the return.

Return Shipping
Unless the product is confirmed or deemed defective by the D-Link technical support team, or the return is due to a shipping error by D-Link, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a carrier that provides a tracking number. D-Link is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

Traffic Management

The DMS-105 offers traffic management features like IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control that provide a more reliable connection for all your devices. The 802.1p QoS feature classifies the traffic into 8 levels and prioritizes them by their importance. Flow Control will temporarily stop data transmission when the switch’s input buffer is full, helping to minimize dropped packets. 

Green Technology

D-Link is always striving to be as Eco-friendly as possible. The DMS-105 switch features green technology, like IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and link status detection. Both work together to save energy and costs. When network utilization is low, Energy-Efficient Ethernet can efficiently reduce the switch's power consumption, bringing down energy consumption. On top of this, power-saving mode automatically powers down the ports when no link is detected.
